0 to 3

So after 3 months, Tristan finally figured out breastfeeding.  Good job kid!  Shields are now a thing of the past.  And he doesn't even look like the same baby anymore…haha he's super fat.

Last night, Tristan had another melt down…..it seems to be a pattern lately, and nothing we did would console him.  Until Nick laid him down on his tummy on the bed.  Weird huh?  He was out like a light.   Too bad we can't let him stay like that.

Me and Tristan took a drive today to Tooele to visit Auntie Becky!  I was so impressed, he slept the whole way up there and was a complete angel the whole time.  How silly…..he's always perfect for everyone but me.  Meh, oh well.  But it was a lot of fun.  Me and Becky got to sit and chat, which is always very relaxing, not to mention she wanted to hold the baby, which was lovely as well.  She and her family are going on vacation to visit some of her husband Matt's family, so she gave me a bouquet of pretty flowers that would have died while she was away.  And they smell very nice.

Then, halfway through our visit, Tristan man farted on my lap, but when I went to change him, Becky was like, oops! he pooed up his back!

It was pretty yucky, he even got it on the couch.  What talent!  He also barfed all over my shirt while I was feeding him because he always gorges himself.  So that looked lovely as well. Becky said it was all part of being a mom.  And what was funny as well, one of her neighbors came over to borrow an egg, and she had a little girl exact same age as Tristan…..only he was about twice her size. I never realized just how pudgy that little boy is!  He loved his cousins too, every time Caleb looked at him he would giggle his little head off.

And one of his naps, this was hilarious, I don't know what he was dreaming, but he just kept smiling and laughing.  And his laugh is funny, it sounds almost like someone is choking him.  I wish I could have stayed longer, but it dawned on me I was going to be driving home alone, so as soon as Tristan fell asleep, I stuck him in his carseat and we left.  But it was a good visit.  Now that I'm a stay at home mommy, maybe we can visit more!  Becky is always chalk full of good advise.
