Cat-Fish Chronicles: Moved in!!!

So we are finally settled into our new place, and it feels amazing. I love not having to worry about the neighbors, not having stinky dishes pile up in my sink, and having amazing view from my window. Today was also my first day as a stay-at-home mom. And Tristan did very well, surprisingly. After all the horror stories from Nick, I was prepared for the worst. Maybe he just needed some mommy time. But I can tell its going to be a lot of fun. This week is going to be spent organizing and putting the house together. Today, I got all the pictures up on the wall so now the place looks more homey. And in other news, Tristan is starting talk a lot more. He smiles and giggles, and sometimes won't eat because he's got way too much to say. At the same time, becoming more vocal also means louder screams. Haha he will scream himself silly when he's hungry or tired.
So hmm, I need a hobby. My sister-in-law Andrea told me about digital scrapbooking, which sounds like a lot of fun. Nick thinks I should get into photography because I like it soo much. Like actually take classes and stuff. I would need a way nicer camera than my little cannon. My dad gave me one of his old Nikon film cameras, so I'm going to try my hand at that. And I've actually had time to make dinner again. Like real dinner, not velveeta and sandwiches. It's hard to find the motivation to cook when you don't get home from work until 8 at night. But I do miss my job already. I'm going to miss the adult social contact and having patients tell me I'm the best phlebotomist they've ever had. I told one patient on Friday it was my last day, and she got super sad and gave me a huge hug. One day I'll get back into the medical field because I love it so much. Maybe I'll be a mother/baby nurse, I think that would be a lot of fun.
